Battersea Arts Centre Wedding Photography

This multicultural wedding at Battersea Arts Centre in London was one of the most emotional weddings I have ever photographed. You can see from the first photos that Bride’s dad cried right at the entrance. Bride could not hide her smile. During the ceremony I think everyone shed a tear or two Bride, groom , bridesmaid, bride’s parents and me.

Yes, I joined in. I am usually so concentrated on my job that I just visually acknowledge what is going on . But at this Battersea Arts Centre Wedding Photography I cried too. The bride and groom vows were so full of love and honestly and so intimate that I could not help shedding a tear myself. Cring was continued during the speeches too.

Wedding of Malia and Sai was a multi culti event. Starting with the couple: Bride being Algerian, Groom French Jewish. Guests from all over the world, representing so many nationalities and cultures. It was an amazing mix creating a very nice vibe.

I totally fell in love with Bride’s evening outfit. Proper Algerian wedding dress with mind blowing jewellery that resembled a crown. Something totally different and unusual. Another Algerian accent was the chicken, chickpeas , cous cous dish.  What other dish represents better the North African heritage. The Jewish tradition was represented in the chair dance. When bride and groom are lifted on the chairs by the dancing crowd. If I am not mistaken this tradition is called Hora. And usually the bride’s and groom’s facial expressions are priceless.

Battersea Arts Centre Wedding Photography was held at one of my top 3  London wedding venues.  It was a joy to photograph a wedding there. It was my first visit but I hope not the last one. Such a unique venue to get married. A pure gem in Central London.
