Harlaxton Manor Asian Wedding Photographer

Anuja and Alexander were the first couple to hold an Asian Hindu wedding at Harlaxton Manor in Grantham. And I was the first ever Asian Wedding Photographer to work at this fantastic location.

My wonderful couple had their Christian Wedding the day before in the St Charles Borromeo Church in Hull. You are more than welcome to view the photos by clicking HERE.  The second day was Traditional Hindu celebration.

Draped mandap supplied by Middland Mandaps and beautifully decorated with flowers by Once Upon a Time Florist was erected in the Great Hall while the Wedding Breakfast took place in the most magnificent room of them all – The Long Gallery, with its Rococo interiors and views on the grounds.

While the morning was dedicated to Asian Wedding traditions, the afternoon had few Polish ones. There couldn’t have been a Polish wedding without vodka. All guests were given small bottles as wedding favors  and went along with a Polish tradition of raising toasts every few minutes and call the couple “Gorzko, Gorzko” . Which is an invitation to a kiss.

As the Harlaxton Manor Asian Wedding Photographer I was given 2 opportunities for a couple photo shoots. This allowed us to explore the Harlaxton Manor grounds in an out. The first session taken right after the Hindu Ceremony  in Asian outfits , worth mentioning that Anuja wore a fantastic Sabyasachi lehenga, the latest one towards the sunset in their Civil ones. Anuja wore super classy white Pronovia Princess wedding dress. I couldn’t be more happy than to have a golden hour that just added the glamour to the Harlaxton Manor Asian Wedding Photos.

This day was truly a dream wedding coming alive. I placed Harlaxton Manor in Grantham in top 3 of my favorite Wedding venues in the UK. I would be more than happy to go back there one day.

Robert, Thank you very much :)

Love this one Slawa, especially her laughter in the b/w champagne photo and looks on the faces of the drum guys. Such a great venue too, you did it justice!
